Well, I've been doing my best to try and follow the story, but it's not terribly interesting and I don't feel all that compelled by it so it. It feels like it lacks character, both in substance and execution. I think it comes back to the whole thing about it being designed for a videogame, rather than something that might be real. I mean, who would scribble these things down on random walls? I would love to work to get to the story, but in a way that makes more sense, and this just feels a bit like the Bioshock way. Who the hell leaves recorded diary entries and whatnot lying around all over the city? It's just so... fake, I guess.

What kind of things are you refrring to?

Most of what Samus does is either translate work notices or hack into and steal information from computer terminals.

I'm talking about the natives, that have written down what happened to them on walls scattered around the level. I'm fine with the hacking and such, that makes sense, but the first bit there just screams "We have a story to tell, but we don't know how to tell it!" to me.
