I think prime 3 has some checkpoints at bosses, but checkpoints make a game way too easy anyway. The only time you'll be dieing is against bosses. You do know prime 1 is 10 years old, right? Pointer never goes offscreen for me, so wouldn't know what causes that with you. Prime games are about exploration and shooting isn't really important. But I'll check through your game collection in a moment and I'll see if I can suggest you something(I've played pretty much every wii game that is considered good. That's the next best thing besides demo's I guess lol. Zelda and Okami seem like an obvious pick if you like single player games, but then again, you don't like to immerse yourself into the protagonist(I actually love that :P) And I see you want your wii online. Mario kart wii is still the best online experience on the wii. Ps: Perhaps unethical, but you could also download your games and buy them if you like them. That way you cause no harm to the industry. I suppose... |
Checkpoints are great, I hate going through stuff I already completed that is completely unrelated to why I died (and I only do die at boss fights, but I don't want to redo stuff to get to that fight). And I know it's an old game, which is why I've been thinking about skipping ahead and see if there are any improvements, but I don't want to miss out on the story (although the story has to be really important to convince me not to skip the first game by now). And usually the pointer goes offscreen when I turn, but that's probably just me using too wide motions for the hardware (every FPS should support M+, it's so much smoother in RS2 when the pointer goes offscreen).
And thanks for the effort
And I just ordered Okami actually (along with MadWorld and Resident Evil 4), so that should be here tuesday. I just hope they can get RE4 though, they couldn't tell me what the situation was with it and so how long it would take :/
And the main reason I want my Wii online is so I can get on WiiWare and get some games (World of Goo!
), and for the occasional online play.
I've thought about that, but I'm still against it, even if it is just for testing purposes. If Nintendo don't want me to try out the games, then they can just wave goodbye to the sales.
