Pardon my French, but that is bullshit. Owners of any system won't buy 5 million copies of a game just because it has a popular series in the title. It has to follow the winning formula of the series as well (even Final Fantasy has themes that make the formula). Just because we are many doesn't mean we get to be told what to buy like sheep.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
