This game is as main series as X-2 was. At least I don't consider neither one main series titles, but spin-offs with main series treatment.

FFX-2 was a sequel to FFX and FFVXIII is a stand alone game not directly connected to FFXIII and It will sell at lest 1.5 first week in Japan.
