well PSP for the same reasons as DS, larger userbase and smaller dev costs.
PS3 and 360 offer a greater market in the west for japaneese franchises

PSP has larger costs than the DS, why aren't all games made for the DS then? PSP still gets a ton of big games and its costs are higher. Plus DS has a userbase that's 2 times as big as that of the DS.
Wii has a bigger userbase than the HD's combined, has lower costs and offers a new gameplay mechanic, yet the big franchises are heading towards the handhelds or the HDs. It wouldn't surprise me to see devs making motion games when Arc and Natal finally come out exclusively for the HD consoles, and using their big franchises for it. Wii is cursed, really I don't think it will be able to maintain its sales come next year only with 1st party SW. Nintendo might be planning to launch a new home console by next year because clearly things will never be good enough for 3rd parties to even try and momentum will definitely die soon if this doesn't change.

This is easier. Regardless of numbers, certain consoles have a specific userbase. A bet that a 360/Wii SHMUP or Visual Novel will do much better on the 360. The 360 has that crowd.
Just with PSP vs. DS. PSP has the local multiplayer game crowd down (Phantasy Star, Monster Hunter, God Eater, etc.)

Wii is appealing in a lot of genres. MH3 sold a million, that's proof enough. Yet 3rd party devs seem to avoid the Wii for some reason. If they never give the Wii games in big franchises, then they will most likely never succeed.

the developer's have made game's on the
PC
the playstation 3
the Xbox360
and they made Money,
what your getting at is I think is the just of your complaint is
"3RD PARTY'S NEED THE Wii To make Money, so why are they not putting game's on the Wii since it's in the leadership position"
If sony and the xbox360 would be first the 3rd party developers would not get this same treatment.
THAT BEG'S THE QUESTION WHY?
I think it has more to do with the Way the Wii is focused in the market V'S the other two. An How Nintendo put's Focus on that Market.
1) Nintendo only need's to promote Nintendo 1st party Game's.
2) Nintendo Motion Controll's Focused with 1st party In mind
3) Not All 3rd Party's feel they will get a fair shake in promotion of their software on the Wii like they get on Sony's and Microsoft's platform's
Even without some 3rd party, Nintendo is doing fantastic, and so are 3rd party's are without the Wii.
