Lots of games have been announced recently. From The Last Story to a new Monster Hunter to three new Kingdom Hearts games just today. New games are announced all the time.
As for Monster Hunter hitting a million, yes it has. And VGChartz needs to update the amount to reflect the Famitsu numbers.

I'd say The Last Story and MH3P were the biggest things announced since even before TGS last year...the KH games weren't officially announced though, it was just a "yeah, we have them in development." Same thing for Persona 5. The KH games might not even be officially shown until TGS this year in the case of the side stories except maybe one of them.
Otherwise, from a lot of other devs they haven't shown too much but that should change by next month...

I don't really see what next month has to do with anything. Is something special happeneing next month? I thought E3 was in May.
But even aside from those games I already mentioned, there's many other games that have been announced in development. Such as Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles, Lufia Estpolis, Atelier Totori 2, etc. Most games are not announced at major events like E3 or TGS. They're announced before hand and then shown off there.
As for Persona 5, its been stated to be in development. I think that's pretty much official. Much like something like the Kingdom Hearts games or White Knight Chronicles 2. Sure, it could get cancelled, but they're working on it with the intention of releasing it.
