Well... I hardly ever hear anyone say "Nintendo". If they DO talk about Nintendo they basicly say "Wii" or "DS".
I would say PlayStation is still the biggest name in gaming worldwide as of now. The dominance in the 90's and early 00's was way too great, and that time was also when videogaming became SUPER popular. I mean, the PS2 is STILL selling 50k units a week after over 10 years on the market.
