Within gaming forums, fanboys and the fact that they will rally around and hype up ANYTHING. I know it's not new, but the way people organize along company lines with this us versus them mentality is so juvenile and inhibits objective, critical discussion. Fuck your favourite company, they are not inherently better or more worthwhile than whoever you're trying to put down. Stop doing armchair PR for extremely rich corporations and stop mindlessly defending measures that are bad for consumers.
