I think both approaches from Sony and Microsoft will be dead at launch.
They're arriving in a time were motion control is not properly a novelty. Since 2006 gamers have been consistently hammered with motion control discussion, now 4 years later Sony and Microsoft realized they want a piece of the pie and I think they're coming too late.
It's the same as a non-Apple company launching a touch phone nowadays. While maybe being good phones and tech enhancements there's absolutely zero "wow" factor.
