I think it has peaked, we're actually seeing HD outselling the Wii by a fair amount (30-50) weekly now for the first time in ages even with a 360 in decline as well. The DS is also heavily down and the PSP is grasping for straws.
All in all; like I've maintained all along, this gen will be a whole lot shorter than most anticipated.

How long do you think it will be?

I have no clue as to when the consoles themselves will be discontinued all together but I think its a fair assumption that all three (plus a possible fourth) will have released a new console by the end of 2012 going by todays sales (yes, one can argue that Ninty will keep on selling a lot more than the competition, and they will, but they can't afford to be left behind when the next gen starts, doubly so when the hardware chasm between it and the two others runs as wide and deep as it already does). If anything, this gen has showed us that even from the highest throne, one can fall amazingly hard on one's ass (Sony) and that nothing should be taken for granted.
