Makes sense. Also, as previously mentioned by someone, I can't think of any Wii games that have 4 player mutiplayer and necessitate having both Wiimote and nunchuk for the players, so while in theory this is a limitation, it should not really limit anything. Now the lag issue, if it will still be there at launch, that's something else. |
Games that support 4 people and must use remotes/nunchucks
- Mario Strikers Charged (the best multiplayer game on Wii)
- NHL 2k10
- PES 2009 (or any soccer)
- NBA 2k10 (or any basketball)
None of them are forcing you to use a nun-chuck, but the following games use it and are typically gimped/casualized if they don't have the nunchuck.
- Grand Slam Tennis (or any tennis)
- Madden (or any football)
- Mario Kart (the "best" control scheme if you want to be the fastest)
- Brawl (it's better than just a Remote, but not as good as a classic/GC)
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 & TV
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
- TMNT Smash-Up
- Wii Music
Obviously most those style games will either be limited to 2-player with motion, be gimped, or they won't support motion controls at all. I'm also sure that if I actually dug through the database I could find more that necessitate the controls.
