because people love to start arguements..
its possible, that yes his demo did influence SONY and NINTENDO, but there were motion sensitive sixaxis like controllers back in the PS1 days, and sony had 3rd party controllers for its console for games like warhawk with motion control.
Wii came out almost in 2007 actually.
