Thank the Nintendo Gods, if true.
I would prefer real time, as it is more engaging, but turn based is something I could live with if the entire game is well designed.
That said, my fav turn based rpg's are FF series...my fav real time RPG is Mass Effect series...and for me personally, because I am not a huge RPG nut, Mass Effect > FF.
But thats just me. Mass Effect just does what I personally like in a game.
