I'll also go with pretty much any of the local shops over the national chains.
I can tell you though, that the worst pizza I ever had was in the food court of the downtown mall of Charlottetown Prince Edward Island Canada. Image the cardboard pizza you get at bowling alleys and such. Then make it about 100x worse.
