Right now it's about impossible to tell, but the other areas that ps3 is combined with are not exactly money-makers. You have Sony ericsson, which has been losing a lot of money consistently, vaio, whose sales are dwindling but making a tidy profit, walkman, which is probably the best of all of them.
However, last quarter they made a surprising amount of profit which has been discussed as being spurred by the ps3 sales. Remember that they sold a couple million more ps3s than they expected and profits went up unexpectedly as well. That says to me that the two are linked. Profit and ps3. There were no boosts to the other parts of the division either.
However, keep in mind that PS3's division no longer includes "shipping charges", so you have to add that, but if you do that, you might as well include BR royalties, seeing as how they are both ripple effects in other divisions.
