Motion Controls

The rest already existed in the PC gaming market, just not very robust in the home console gaming market. Even then, if we go just down to home console gaming market, we've had online for generations, XBL just "perfected" it. Achievements (while cool and addictive) don't really add to gameplay. Technological leaps aren't really an innovation either. We've had lots of technological leaps, and every single one has followed the logical path.

As for DLC, I have a love/hate relationship with it. Generally I refuse to pay for DLC, but I can see the benefits of being able to download a map pack for a popular shooter 6-12 months after it was initially released. However, I hate that people put out buggy games and just fix them via DLC, or have DLC available within 1 month because they figured they could earn more by making you pay extra for content that should have been included in the first place.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
