It's not just you. Resolution aside everyone is so hell bent on making super realistic games that actual artistic direction is a dying theme in games.

Isn't that the opposite of what it is now? Like, if a game doesn't have fuschia, turqoise, and chartreuse, people say it's a piece of shit brown game.
