The demo is 8 months old. Or rather, it was shown 8 months ago, so it's probably older. The graphics are not "mediocre", not in the slightest.

Also just because its 1080p doesn't mean it has good graphics.

sure it would...  it wouldn;t look so blurry on my 1080p tv..   big difference..  the texures don;t look so bad

Look, if you've only played games which look better than GoW3 this gen, you've only played PC games, Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2.

God of War III is a graphical behemoth. It's not the console graphics king, but it's far beyond the average HD game graphically... did Bad Company look this good? CoD4? Arkham? inFamous? Prototype? R&C? NO.
