Heheh... I've just finished thinking of my main team I'll have for SoulSilver when it releases. ^_^

But as for Jirachi... I may as well take advantage of this opportunity.

I've been doing a bit of thinking too, but i don't want to lock myself in. For at least the first half of the game your team should be organic, a surprise, then you start focusing on specific Pokemon to round it out.

All i know is that Typhlosion will be my main, and i may import a few from Pearl. Most likely either my low-level Spiritomb, mid-level Snover (or Abomasnow, not sure if it evolved), and maybe Jirachi, but i don't want to load too much of my team from the older game (which is what i ended up doing with my original Silver, with a hacked-out Mewtwo, overlevel Starmie, Electabuzz, and Moltres to make 4/6th of my team)

Also looking at Wooper to cover the dual bases of ground and water, and maybe Natu/Xatu, but putting them in would preclude Jirachi.

Well that's been sort of my thinking as well. I'm not going to have some OU Smogon team that's meant to be the ultimate (and yet most borning) team ever. I want some good Pokemon that I like... and are available to catch in SoulSilver/HeartGold (mostly ).

I'll be starting off with Totodile (<3 Water starters) and I'll be catching a Scyther at the bug catching contest (Scizor), catching a Magmar at the Burnt Tower (Magmortar), and have Sneasel traded to me from Diamond because you can only catch her around Mt. Silver (Weavile), do the same for Electabuzz (Electivire), and get a Gligar through my brother's HeartGold version (Gliscor).

It's a solid team, but more importantly it's a team that's actually legitimate for HG/SS and has Pokemon that rock my socks off.
