First, the DS in my household is technically my girlfriend's. I bought it for her as a gift. So while I have access to it, it is not like I can take it with my whenever I want. I've also tried to keep myself from buying games just for me. I got her interested in Scribblenauts so I could play it too, but I don't see her being interested in a RPG. Second, even when I was younger I used my handhelds at home more than anywhere else. At this point in my life, I don't have a need for gaming on the go, so that ratio is even more in favor of home gaming. So why not just game on a home console with a TV? There are still some experiences you can't get anywhere but a handheld though. It is why I still have one. |
You should get a 2nd DS, 2 copies of DQIX, and co-op together. Perfect date game.
