I dont understand the "Its too violent for my tastes" thing since you also enjoyed Bayonetta, right ? That game was violent too...

high violence agaisnt attacking monster is easy to perform because they usually attack you first and YOU defend yourself.

high violence versus human or humanoide creature is a lot more difficult to handle when it becomes "free violence" and when you can feel the suffering of the victim.

When I kill something in a game, I am killing pixels and binary code. It doesn't affect me in the slightest.
