thx Rath for your post, and yes, statistic is BS, dont worry, I know that, it is why I dont use them.

I also believe NPD numbers will introduce some changes since the Xbox360 was undertracked severals times.

It was a MS statement, presented by CNN. Like stated before by Rath, companies cannot lie about things that can effect their market value, like sales numbers. Shareholders and potential buyers are protected by law to recieve correct information from the companies.

So when Microsoft says they sold 310.000 X360's that's absolutely the best number available, so ioi is very smart to use this information in his salesnumbers.

As for NPD, it will probably differ a bit here and there, but that's not really a problem to me. I love this site for its convenience and ioi has proven to be very close to the only numbers that really count: numbers in the annual reports of the companies.
