If you were to vote for me based on those you would be a fool, I am in no way going to follow through on those. They are too unrealistic and to do one I would probably have to cancel all of the others. I'm just telling you what you want to hear. It's exactly what the BNP are doing in order to become more powerful.

All parties have empty promises like that, Labour, Conservatives, Lib dems. They all tell you what you want to hear. However, you can generally see some consistent thought pattern in their policies that show they have serious plans behind the ear candy. I didn't see this at all when reading the BNP's policies, I couldn't see a thought pattern outside of "Immigrants are the problem", which seemed to be the only part of their policies that were consistent. Most of what they said just switched seemingly at random.

They may well pull out of Afghanistan or put more police on the streets, but I don't think they would pull it off anywhere near as well as they would like you to think they would and they know it.

How do they do it a lot more than most?

Of course saying those things helps with votes, but just to say "they wont do it" is wrong. Saying they dont have the means or power to do it is also wrong. They could get Police back on the streets easily enough. They say they will pay for the training of more Nurses/Doctors, which is more than doable if people want the jobs. Not everything may be as simple, but if they tried hard enough they could get things to happen.

I know they all lie to an extent, everyone knows. I haven't studdied all of them enough (or even at all) though to properly see things like you see. You have obviously been interested in all this stuff for a long time... Maybe im being naive, but from what i've seen, some of the idea's they have aren't all that bad. And if they could get them to work it would do Britain a world of good.

Carl, the best thing I could ask you to do is to go to the other parties websites and read through their policies. They all write things pleasing to the reader, like the BNP. But when you look at them critically, looking for consistency and contradictions, you start to build up a picture of what they really stand for and what they do and do not plan on doing.

For example. When I read the Conservatives economy policy I can see that they will try their best to do what they claim; but when I read their health policy I'm hardly taken back by their claims, even though what they say is they kind of stuff I want to hear.

Oh i am going to, i had a quick glance at Labour's stuff last night but wasn't too impressed. Will probably take a propper look at a few more tonight.
