Whilst I think that immigration into the UK is a problem, I also think that the BNP approach it too ferociously. I don't think they would have as many enemies if their policy wasn't just "Kick them all out and don't let anyone else in".

If it were the BNP's policy to accept immigrants based on what value they can add to the UK and to retain immigrants that are valuable members of society; a more stringent yet sensible approach to tackle immigration than our current open door system, then I think people would be less hostile towards them, like they are with UKIP.

But they don't, they take" the kick everyone out and don't let anyone in" approach, and the methods they choose to do that (via heavily subsidising emigration and promoting isolationism) just plain don't work and piss people off in the process.

Wouldn't that be the "Exceptional cases" thing?

It shouldn't have to be "exceptional". If somebody is contributing to the country, then they should be allowed to stay. If you're going to deport so-called "immigrants" who don't contribute to society, how about deporting White Britons who don't contribute to society?
