I think we go a long way to ensure racial equality in the UK justice system, the case with Nottingham appears to be one isolated point where keeping a fair level of racial equality does appear to be problematic.
Hopefully there are no major problems, and if there are major problems I would assume that the courts are working very hard to correct them.
The Telegraph just picked up on this because, well, it's a newspaper; and like all newspapers it likes controversy if it sells a few thousand copies more.
