So what, the DS deserves it's topspot for sure. Great desing, great games that appeal to the market outside of hardcore gamers as well. However, you are making it sound like the PSP has no right to be alive. Both DS and PSP have been doing remarkable lately, both had a huge boost from their redesigns and I believe that Monster hunter just became the first PSP title to have 1.5 million sales in Japan alone.
Since I live in Europe I wonder if the ds is currently being mass marketed in the states as well. I can hardly switch on the television without seeing brain, eye, penis training on the ds.
