I watch hockey! My roommate is a huge fan of the Colorado Avalanche, and so I've been watching their games this season. It's a lot better than watching football or soccer, as far as I'm concerned. However, I prefer playing soccer to the other two.

YEAH! Hockey is great because these guys get hit hard and get right back out there 82 times a year. Not like Football players who only play 16 times.

Plus, with hockey, there's a lot of action going on with a lot less breaks, compared to football with a lot of breaks separated by a little action. (It's not quite that bad, but it's not as exciting as hockey, IMO).
And it's always fun to see the fights.

Too bad though the American media treats hockey like crap. I listen to sport's radio every day and whenever a caller brings up hockey the radio hosts are like "Alright alright, nobody cares about Hockey. Next caller."

Yeah, hockey doesn't get mentioned very much on the news here. There's usually a mention of how they did in the last game, or if something spectacular happened, it's a few minutes of "Look at this!!" but never much more than that. Football, basketball, and baseball usually get most of the news time.
