Or did you all expect it in 2008

Yamauchi did.

In the same year as the Prologue was never going to happen. Not when it was selling so well. The game was 2009 at the earliest. And that was before they decided to commit to damage and all the other features fans were screaming for.

GT5 in 2008 was not the same game as GT5 in 2010.

It's hard to go against what the creator of the game said, but somehow you managed to.

LOL!

Yeah, like the guy on the first page (lestat?).

How can anyone deny that GT5 got delayed?

So Alan Wake also wasn't delayed because hey, Remedy never gave a release date. lol

I'm still here.

So a delay is now considered whenever any time a developer or executive promisses a release date and then it isn't met? How many games pass through that process until they get an official release date.

Officially there was only one delay for GT5 on JP, nothing else.

There could have been many delays in development, if you look at my reply to NJ5 I acknowledge that, but official ones, it is only one, just like I said on my first post.

Hi. ^^

Who cares if delays were official or not? Fans and gamers don't.

If a game is officially announced or revealed it usually automatically means there's a rough target for release date, or else the dev wouldn't show the game to the public.
