I think all this elite idea is sick. It costs way too much and makes all weakness of "classic" X360 even easier to mention. Because of this many customers may find standard version as inferior not only to new X but also to PS3. It won't generate any hype. I think only users who already want X may buy an elite version instead of "classic" - that's all. Anyway this model with such overpriced HDD is profitable for sure
