Mario/Zelda will never die as long as Nintendo exists. Even if Shiggy does............They also stated Pokemon will go on FOREVER. So expect over a thousand Pokemon in the years to come......Metroid is just getting another fresh start with Other M, and when is Final Fantasy ever "Final"? I believe It sells just as much or more than Zelda.......After MGS4, I felt the series was coming to an end, especially with all the rumors saying it was the last true MGS game. Of course FF just recently had the same announcement.......but I believe it's "spinoffs" will last much longer than MGS's. and that is my OPINION, on this topic.
