Dear god, I was just thinking about the Wii's lineup for this year, and they've got all the bases covered and then some.

Mario Galaxy 2, Red Steel 2, Metroid: Other M, Zelda Wii (most likely), The Grinder, Gladiator A.D., No More Heroes 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, The Last Story, Xenoblade, Cosmic Walker, Endless Ocean 2, Monster Hunter Tri-, Fragile Dreams, Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces, NBA Jam, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Shiren the Wanderer, Calling, Sin & Punishment 2, Lego Harry Potter, Trauma Team, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Epic Mickey, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 all came to mind just as I gave it a quick thought.

They have quality titles in every genre coming out.

Platformer:

Mario Galaxy 2

Epic Mickey

Shooter:

The Grinder

Red Steel 2

Transformers: War for Cybertron

Sin & Punishment 2

Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces

Action-Adventure:

Zelda Wii (most likely)

No More Heroes 2

Metroid: Other M

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Trauma Team

Fragile Dreams

The Calling

Fighter:

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

RPG:

Relaxation:

Sports:

A billion other games from EA, many of which will feature MotionPlus control

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing

And that's not even counting all the Rock Bands, Guitar Heroes, anything that uses the Vitality Sensor, and any of the megatons that are sure to be dropped at E3.

So yeah, saying it will be Wii's best year, with regard to games, is an understatement.  Who else can't wait?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
