I seriously don't know why you would sign up for netflix because of console streaming. The selection is "meh" if you are getting it just for that. I got netflix because $17/month for unlimited blu-ray/dvd rentals/month is pretty dang sweet. The movie streaming to PC/Console is just a bonus.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
