Eternal Darkness was a very special one-time sort of thing. It's perfectly all right.

Why, Eternal Darkness 2 using the Vitality sensor of course - that was the first game to even come to mind when they mentioned it. sigh, this is sad news indeed.

The line immediately following the bolded is very important here. No internal Nintendo team is equipped to handle this game.

Silicon Knights had indicated a willingness to do it again, though. Nintendo still has partial ownership of them from what i know.

Considering how slow Silicon Knights are in development, even if they started the second one right now, we probably wouldn't see it until Nintendo's next console anyway.
