I've only played Arkham Asylum a bit (I need to get through my queue of games), but I thought it was fantastic. It emulates perfectly what being Batman is all about. There's so much enjoyment in scaring goons in different ways, raising their heart rates to the highest possible levels, and then ultimately kicking their asses in a variety of ways. And complaints about this game are actually a good thing. The more complaining there is, the more things will be fixed and polished for the inevitable sequel (a la Assassin's Creed 1 to AC2). |
To be clear, Arkham Asylum is miles better than the original Assassin's Creed.
