Actually, Singapore would be nice to live in. It's hot, but everything is air conditioned. It rains a lot, but it's warm rain. Public transport is cheap and miles better than that of the UK, houses are larger, crime is virtually non-existent. Gaming is popular there (though mostly PC gaming). And if the price for that is lack of freedom of speech, so be it. It's not as if the government's actually done anything that anyone would want to protest against.
