Really? Their score for the last game in the series was 31/40, and that honestly doesn't seem that different to me from 28/40. I can't find the review for the first one, so perhaps you're right but I don't see it, and with the information here I would have to assume that there really isn't that much of a difference between the quality of the third and the second game.
Of course I don't really trust Famitsu that well, so that above analysis was just assume that you do take their scores seriously, otherwise you can just be like me and assume it probably isn't awful and move on with your day.
