Just make it like Tekken 3 in HD... go back to the roots, where minigames and customization is not important. Focus on the gameplay, graphics and amazing musical score 
Oh, and create at least a couple of new characters that are en-par with Yoshimitsu or King... those two are the most memorable fighting characters for me ever created. Yes they best even Scorpion for me
