I think, it's less than 600k , due to rounded numbers (see LTD 2008 and LTD 2009; 1,15k and 1,7k), so certanly 360 sell only a bit more than last year.
If i remember good, you work at micromania, and you said in a previous thread (360 price drop in France between 5 januar and 13 february) that the ps3 has destroyed the 360 this christmas in France.
In the interview of pdg of sony (Georges Fornay, gamekult website), he speak about a ratio 2 ps3 for 1 360, for christmas 2009.

For me, who work not in a shop, and see only the consoles in the shops. What i can say is that sony has sold all the 250 gb consoles, they give to retailers, except some sku with two blue ray (not a lot). A lot of 120 gb bundles (made by retailers) have been sold too.
For 360, the sku bundled with forza 3, GTA , Halo 3, modern warefare 2, fifa 10 have been sold (relatively good). But arcades with banjo and elite value pack are not sold.
So i think that the price drop you speak previously is for selling the last consoles (arcades with banjo, value pack elite), which normally must have been sold for christmas.

Are the sales good with this price drop? Is it possible that for 13 february, all the old sku will be sold?
A new sku with halo 3 ODST and Fable 2 must arrive soon, you confirm?
Next, there will be a sku with splinter cell conviction (delayed now).
For me, it's clear that microsoft thought previously to sold more 360 for christmas, which explain the temporary price drop now to try to sell the consoles for christmas.
Second, the ps3 has been strong.
