Not just the top 10 Wii games my friend... but the top 10 games themselves were dominated by Nintendo games. I mean 8/10 games in the top 10 overall are Nintendo published games. The only other games to muscle their way through was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Just crazy I tell you! 
Actually, Pokemon Platinum outsold Halo 3: ODST by around... 5,000 units. It was incredibly close.
But your post is something I'll be working on sometime this week. I'll be doing a writeup about this year's software sales, and how each console performed. Should prove to be interesting.
