maybe fkusumot can back me up on this since he is Japanese. I went for a semester at sophia university with a bunch of my American classmates 2 years ago and we were treated great. When we went to a club or out to eat we got treated well and saw many American brands around. This is Tokyo i am referring to so i might not be the same elsewhere. It's not cause the X-box is American but for another reason which i cannot say conclusively.
