DMeisterJ, you are coming off just a little vindictive over this whole issue. From what I can see, you did tell Zucas to leave the forums if he was going to badmouth them, implying that the things he was saying were badmouthing the forums. If anything, it seemed more like he was bashing famitsu's numbers, and merely questioning VGChartz reasons for switching to their numbers. I dunno if this was a defensive response to having your thunder stolen or what, but it is coming off that way a bit to me.

The way I see it, if PS3 even managed to come within a reasonable percentage of the Wii in japan, just the simple increase in sales by any means is an accomplishment. Wii is still outselling the PS3 in terms of global sales, so as a Wii supporter, I'm not really concerned by it.

The question I'm still waiting to see answered is how long PS3 will be able to maintain the sale rate that they have achieved. The first week or so seemed to be as much people running out and buying the 60GB PS3 before they ran out of the stock. The second week might have been a combination, but a 3rd week of sales that are in the same range as the Wii sales shows signs of some permanence being achieved by the cheaper priced PS3.

Still, that doesn't mean PS3 is winning against Wii. It is still trailing in global sales, and as people have pointed out, even with it outselling Wii in japan, it's not going to catch up with Wii's numbers anytime soon.

I'll give it a golf clap, but this is hardly going to turn the tides of the console wars.
