MGS3 sales are at 1.4 million with the massive PS2 install base. What makes anyone think MGS4 will get anywhere near Halo3? Also since Sony has used MGS4 as the prime hype title for the PS3 since the unveiling of the PS3 I believe it is highly likely that the purchasers of MGS4 are people who purchased PS3's early.
