How can you choose PC for this category and put "> Every console ever together"? It's like choose GBA for action games just because it's my favorite system.

So let us say for example I came into this thread and knew for a fact that I prefer JRPGs and I look at the current and upcoming JRPG lineup for the PS3 and see that it is loaded with JRPGs, your saying that even if say I don't like WRPG at all I still need to vote for PC and/or 360 because they have more?

Sorry but I see no sense in that. This is an opinionated poll. What is best is entirely subjective and who has most isn't what counts, what counts is what is considered the best by the one who is voting.

Those whining about "PS3 fans overtaking the polls" are just being childish. They can vote for whatever they like and people need to get used to that.

yes absolutely.

The question is not about your favourite console/handheld you play RPGs on. It's about "the best console for RPGs", so no it's not about opinions.

It seems like very few people in this forum can judge games objectively.

Hell I don't like the Zelda games and I still acknowledge them for what they are. Great games.

 

I don't care for the majority of DS RPGs and yet I still voted for it, because it has lots of them and they're well received amongst gamers and critics.

I disagree. How can you for example declare that the 360 for example is the best console for RPGs when taste in RPGs vary?

 

Also how can you judge a game objectively? It is all subjective. This is why some great game are disliked and vise versa.

 

As for your last sentence I ask you this:

My opinion > Anyone else for me. End of story.

I am sure this is how many others feel as well.

 

Someone would need to be crazy if they expect someone to give and opinion like:

"I don't like any of the RPGs on that console but it is still better than the one that has the games I like."

You're obsessed with the word "critics" or something ? I mentioned it one time and I even put it at the end of the sentence, because it was my intention to focus on the gamers.

and yeah my opinion > opinion of anybody else. But I say it again. It's not about you.

So: My opinion = meaningless in this case.

Now let's say I'd hate Demon's Souls and now someone makes up a thread asking if he should get Demon's Souls.

According to your logic I must say : "No it's a terrible RPG. Stay as far away from it as you can." (That would be my opinon)

Or I could say: "Well I didn't like it, but there were a lot of people liking it and it received many GOTY nominees. So there must be something in the game that caused fun, but unfortunately I didn't find it. So yeah why not, give it a try." (neutral view on the matter)
