People never buy whatever the latest fitness craze is right? That's why there's no fitness industry anymore... That didn't make any sense like i said in the real world we live in real people are struggling to pay of debt wht would they by another console for the same thing?
I agree nobody is buying anything new in the real world. Women already have clothes and shoes for example and that's why they never buy any new ones.

There were parents paying $100-$200 (or more) over list price on eBay for the Wii when it was the popular thing to get but you're right nobody is going to pay even half that price for something new.

Before the Wii how often did you hear of women buying video game consoles for exercise? Also we're talking about Natal not the original non-Natal Xbox 360.
That is the mass audience the wii sold too, my nan plays the wii, can you imgine what games and elderly person would like to play on NATAL? can you imagine your nan playing halo reach??? No but does she like game shows? What about bowling? What about playing with her nephew from afar and being able to see him!

See comment above about the setting in the Dashboard to automatically bypass it if a game is in the drive.

Yeah Sony learned from the last time but Microsoft hasn't learned anything. That's why Sony promotes their motion controller to core gamers and Microsoft to casuals, because they learned from Nintendo's success (it's Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition that is responsible for the Wii's amazing sales success not Wii Sports, right?!?).Well there about to learn
