The 360 brings us hit after hit, but the sales just won't pick up properly, so that's why I personally believe, and always have believed, that the PS3 will catch the 360 eventually. This is a trend since the launch of the PS3 and the first big games on the 360, so it's been pretty consistent. Overall, the 360 is doing fine, but fine won't cut it, it seems unable to attain higher levels of sales than it has had, which does not bode well for its future... |
Why does everyone keep ignoring that the PS3 just received a new model at a drastically reduced price two weeks ago? If it keeps up through December, it's a trend. Right now it's a spike, nothing more. Any system gets a kick in the shorts for a few weeks after having $100 lopped off the MSRP. |
Regardless of Sony price drops, 360 sales WW have never been exceedingly high, which was my point. It even failed to sell very well when it was all alone on the market for a year, which really limits the system's probability of success in the face of competition imo.
