i think its possible, was one the hardware table befor looking and from -

if that number is correct i dont see why the PS3 cant have 8 Millions by end of the year, i spoke to the owner of my local Game store and he said they completely sold out of 60Gb and have a waiting list, and they neary out of the 40GB, but are expecting a lot more in, as they are selling very quick, and thats just in the last week
