PS3 Hiting 8 Mil Before 08'?

Right here goes:

The 360 is on 13.43m Worldwide and the PS3 is on 6.13m Worldwide but this is including the Others sales for last week and not the NA or Japan.  We should expect the 360 sales to be better in NA than the PS3, but the PS3 to have better in Japan.  I reckon we should be seeing figures of 150-160k total for NA and Japan for the 360 and maybe 130-140k for the PS3 for NA and Japan.  This should put the 360 on 13.60m and the PS3 on 6.27m once the dust settles this week.  Then we have 5/6 weeks remaining until the end of the year.

The PS3 needs 1.73m to get to 8m whereas the 360 needs 2.4m to get to 15m.

IMHO, I reckon that the PS3 will get to around 8m when the 360 gets to around 15m seeing as the momentum Worldwide seems to be with the PS3 slightly.

Anyway, 1.73m is achievable, and if it doesn't happen by the end of this year, the PS3 will pass the 8m mark very early next year, probably in it's first week in January.
