First price drop three years in (I'm not waiting that long,) and my launch hardware still working great. True, libraries start lacking, but I'm more than happy playing things as they come. In short Nintendo has done a lot to make early adoption appealing. |
Yea, Nintendo didn't screw the customers with extremely expensive hardware and continuous price drops. With a market that has been trained to buy $200-300 consoles at launch, people are going to feel screwed when one comes out at $450-600, and then has price drops every 12 months for the rest of it's life.
Anyways, anyone who is expecting a price drop in ~12 months after launch for their favorite console is also expecting them to be overpriced and come in last place.
