To me it's blindingly obvious why the situations are similar. In both cases there are people that choose to ignore key facts and argue based on what amounts to wishful thinking, It's like the PSP Go, it was obvious why it was going to fail but every time anyone listed those reasons in a sales discussion you had people ignoring them and simply stating it could go either way. There is a thing called an educated guess, that is what I'm doing, those arguing against me are simply choosing to ignore the facts.
