Did you look at the numbers ?

So far : 

MW2 360 NA : 5.3 millions

NSMBWii NA : 3 millions

Last week sales :

NSMBWii : 590k

MW2 360 : 447k

 

No way NSMBWii will pass MW2 before end of january...

Once the black Wii is out in America, they will be able to sell over a million a week (if they can come up with stock) for several weeks.

 

 

 

So much hope put into a little color change, lol...

Its been available here for quite some time but hasn't exactly been tearing it up sales wise. In fact, besides a couple of online retailers, it hasn't even been outsold despite the very limited number in stock. The color of a home console (handhelds are much more prone to moving quicker out of the shelf with more color variety though) is not that big of a deal and to suggest that it'll help move over a million Wii's a week for several weeks outside of the holidays simply because of America is... strange at best. It will also cost slightly more (it does here anyway), which doesn't exactly help either, especially this shortly after a price cut. Who wants to go backwards and pay more?

PS: Why is everyone so obsessed with this bet anyway? This grade of defensive behaviour is rare even in here.
